Current project

This project is one that I've been wanting to do for a while now. I presented the idea to my woodwork teacher in grade 12 and he said that it would take too much wood and be too expensive so he couldn't let me do it (school policy and all that garbage). So I set it aside and went back to the drawing board to look for a new idea. (This is when I came up with the rocking chair table thing... see the 3D section of portfolio). Anyways now I figured that there is an assignment with which this will fill the parameters or lack thereof, so why not do it now.

It's not super obvious what the actual function of this peice is but I will provide you with a bit of context. The final product will have 4 triangles total. These triangles (being right angle triangles) fit together into infinite configurations. Lounge chair, 2 stools, hundreds of different shilving uints and storage spaces, and pretty much whatever else you can think of. This design is not only meant for functionality and to save space but envolve the user to an extent where they can use the product in a way that the designer may have never even thought of.

Truly personal and interactive on the highest scale
